Addams Family Audition | Theater Baton Rouge

Theater Baton Rouge is holding auditions for its upcoming musical, The Addams Family, on Monday, August 29 at 6:00 PM at 7155 Florida Blvd. People of all ages are welcome to audition, but the website states that you must be fully vaccinated to audition.

Red Bar Farmers Market | Downtown

For Baton Rouge residents, the Red Stick Farmers Market is the best way to bring farm-to-table dining to those who love fresh produce and friendly vendors.

Self-care is more than a nice bath and a sheet mask. You can also browse around the farmer’s market. Every Tuesday, there is a farmers market in downtown Baton He Rouge at 7711 Goodwood Blvd. The market is open from 3:30pm to 6:30pm. “The Red Sticks Farmers Market is a produce-only market, meaning that all produce sold by farmers under their tents comes from farms,” the website states. Nothing beats fresh produce.

Black Women in PR | Holiday Forum

The LSU Riley Center hosts Kristen Dufochard, Vanessa Avron, and Rebecca Roussel for Black Women’s PR: Reflecting on Success. The event starts at 5:30pm and runs until 7:00pm. Speakers will talk about their respective esteemed career journeys. The event will be held at the Holiday Forum in the Journalism Building on campus.

Josiah Shirou | La Divina Italian Cafe

Live music at La Divina Italian Cafe at 3535 Perkins Rd. The performer on September 1st is Josiah Shirou. Shirou is a singer-songwriter from Baton Rouge. His music gives off “I’ll Be” with Edwin McCain vibes. The event will last from 6pm to 8pm.

Speak Easy | Chelsea Live

Friday, September 2nd is a night out in the ’80s at Chelsea Live! Local band Speak Easy at 8pm at 1010 Nicholson Dr.

Flatland Calvary | Texas Club

This Texas band brings a different country sound to Baton Rouge’s Texas club (456 N. Donmoor Ave.). The show will begin on Friday, September 2nd at 9pm. General admission is $18.

Dababy | Smoothie King Center

“Neighborhood Superstar” DaBaby will perform at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans on Friday, September 2nd at 8pm. Rap/Hip Hop concert tickets starting at $35.

Corey Smith | Texas Club

Country music singer Corey Smith will take the stage at The Texas Club (456 N. Donmoor Ave.) on Saturday, September 3rd at 9pm. General admission is $19.
